We are excited to offer you an online session to discover the potential of the CLLD and Smart Village EU-programmes in strengthening and mainstreaming community-led approaches to the climate emergency. We’ll explore these opportunities together at our next online Communities for Future (CfF) session on the 13th of December, from 16:30 to 18h CET.
This CfF session will be a chance to learn more about the ongoing opportunities to participate in the planning and implementation of these EU-programmes, especially through practical action at local level, and to access funding and other support to help resource your work and the work of communities you engage with.
During the session you will get information about the programmes from experts on CLLD and you’ll hear case examples on how existing ECOLISE members and partners are already accessing CLLD funding to support their work.
This session is a first peek into these opportunities and it will mark the official launch of a new CLLD working group, which will then continue meeting on a regular basis. This working group will support enhanced collaboration between ECOLISE members/partners and CLLD and Smart Village stakeholders, as well as ensure further capacity building to initiatives in the ECOLISE network.
Presenters:
Antonia Mallach – Suderbyn ecovillage, Sweden
Davie Philip – Cultivate, Ireland
Fritz Pichler – Municipality of Stanz, Austria
Marion Eckardt – ELARD
Eamon O’Hara – ECOLISE
