Reflects Successfully on 2023

The year 2023 has been a pivotal period for ELARD Knowledge Hub, full of exciting initiatives and meaningful achievements. We want to take this opportunity to look back on some of the progress we’ve made during the year.

One of the highlights of the year was our participation in our three new and significant projects: DigiMedFor, EC4RURAL, and FLIARA, which means that we are currently running 7 projects. Through these collaborations, we have expanded our impact and strengthened our commitment to society, and we very much look forward to our continued participation in these.

We are also proud to announce the completion of RURBEST22 in 2023. It has been a journey of learning and accomplishments, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to its success. A project that engaged young people from local to European level.

The RECAH project is also near its end, and therefore RECAH recently hosted a key event for rural energy communities. Experts and leaders gathered to discuss challenges and innovative solutions shaping the future, which was another highlight from 2023.

ELARD Knowledge Hub actively engaged in impactful events during 2023, One of the highlights included a pivotal coordination meeting for the RENOVERTY sister projects, uniting 32 EU-funded initiatives focused on addressing energy poverty, promoting sustainability, and driving innovation in various domains. This served as a platform for discussions, exchanging ideas, and sharing our project concepts.

We also successfully concluded a dynamic 4-day consortium meeting with the RUSTIK project, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable transitions in rural areas.

Additionally, we hosted a youth employment event in Athens as part of the Cowork4youth project. These experiences inspire our concrete actions toward a more sustainable and socially just future.

Of course, all ELARD Knowledge Hubs projects also exhibited at the fantastic LEADER Congress where 800 representatives from 36 EU Member States and candidates countries met.

A significant step forward for ELARD Knowledge Hub was the creation of our web section and logo. This update not only represents our identity but also signifies our commitment to staying modern and relevant in the digital era.

With the lessons from 2023, we look forward with enthusiasm to the upcoming year. We continue to strive to make a difference and create positive changes in society.
