NEXRUR launches video interview series featuring community cases

The NEXRUR project has launched a new video interview series presenting community cases from across its network. The series highlights practical examples of how local communities, businesses and organisations are responding to rural challenges through innovative and sustainable approaches.

The video interviews explore a wide range of topics, including sustainable agriculture, local food systems, renewable energy, agroforestry, water management, aquaculture and community-led business models. Together, they demonstrate how locally developed solutions can strengthen rural economies, support environmental sustainability and contribute to more resilient rural communities.

Several video interviews are already available, with more community cases to be published throughout the project. Each interview offers a different perspective on rural innovation and demonstrates how locally developed solutions are contributing to more resilient rural communities.

About the NEXRUR project

NEXRUR investigates innovation dynamics and strategies for change in rural areas through international cooperation between the EU and China. The project supports farmers and their communities in developing, selecting and scaling up sustainable business models while monitoring their economic, social and environmental impact on rural resilience.

The ELARD Knowledge Hub is a partner in the NEXRUR project.
