Enhancing policy coordination for vibrant rural areas

Rural Pact Support Office invites Ruaral Pact Community members to the Policy Action Lab ‘Enhancing policy coordination for vibrant rural areas’ which will take place in Brussels (Belgium) on 28 November 2024.

Please follow this link  to express your interest by 18 October 2024 at the latest to participate in this full-day Policy Lab that will bring together peers from across Europe.

All selected participants will receive a confirmation email, so please do not make any travel and accommodation arrangements until your participation has been confirmed. Travel and accommodation support will be provided to a limited number of participants, mainly local actors and organisations.

This event will gather 100 stakeholders to:

• Facilitate a reflection on existing national and regional rural strategies and action plans, including identification of key challenges and lessons learned;
• Enable critical analysis concerning the availability of data and information on various funding streams and policy tools targeted at rural areas and scope for improvement;
• Develop proposals and recommendations for the way forward with EU policy tools for the achievement of the rural vision.

The audience will consist of policymakers at national and regional levels in charge of designing, implementing and monitoring policies with an impact on rural areas, as well as rural stakeholders involved in advocacy and representing the voice of rural communities.
