The Slovenian LEADER office has recently prepared two articles on LEADER/CLLD projects.
The first article is about the importance and strengthening of local self-sufficiency and short supply chains in rural areas trough the LEADER/CLLD approach.
The second article talks about the development of tourism trough the LEADER/CLLD approach. LEADER/CLLD projects brought numerous innovations to the Slovenian countryside, which enable a better quality of life in villages and in urban settlements, and build on an area’s basic tourist program. In some places, this is crucial for the development of local boutique tourism.
