Slovenian LAGs Festival “Together for local development”

This year’s edition of the Slovenian LAGs Festival will take place on September 7-8 in the Kamnik area. With the aim of promoting the operation of and cooperation between LAGs, the two-day event combines expert meetings and a festival programme. The main theme of this year’s expert meeting is ‘The Evaluation of Strategies for the Local Development of LAGs’.

SRDN – the network of Slovenian LAGs – is expecting more than 70 participants from eight European countries. Along with the Slovenian representatives, there will be delegates from Croatia, Poland and the Czech Republic. The co-organizers of this year’s festival are the LAG “Heart of Slovenia” and the Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry and Food – the Slovenian National Rural Network.
