The SAT4TER has been developed by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission and the Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy-DG REGIO and is an easy-to-use, free and anonymous tool for authorities and interested stakeholders that are responsible for building or updating integrated territorial development strategies. Such strategies are the ones under the Policy Objective 5, specific objectives 2 (as specified in Article 3, paragraph (e) of the Regulation (EU) 2021/1058 (2021-2027)) or more precisely to Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI) or Community Led Local Development (CLLD) and other types of territorial tools in non-urban settings.
