Nordic-Baltic Rural and Maritime Award 2018

The Rural Network Support Units and Fisheries Networks of Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden are organising a joint award competition for good projects funded under the EU’s Rural Development (EAFRD) and Fisheries (EMFF) Funds. The award seeks to recognise projects/actions/investments in the participating countries, which have received support under either of the two Funds.

Initially, a maximum of three projects/investments/initiatives from each member state have been nominated by the networks. The selection will subsequently be narrowed down to one nominated from each country. The seven finalists will than all be invited to the Rural Parliament, the expenses being supported by their own Rural or Fisheries network.

In the final round at a meeting the 17 May, three winners (without ranking) will be awarded during the Swedish Rural Parliament organised in the town of Örnsköldsvik May 18-20.
