ECOLISE’s main policy event, co-organised by ICLEI–Local Governments for Sustainability and the European Economic & Social Committee (EESC).
The conference aims to bridge the gap between policy and local, community-led action in light of the European Green Deal. It will feature deep-dive discussions, insights from community-led initiatives, local governments and policy makers aimed at understanding what it takes to localise a strong and effective European Green Deal. For the full agenda and more information, please visit the official event webpage.
– Gain insights into the role of local governments and communities in addressing the planetary crisis
– Understand the challenges and opportunities in implementing the European Green Deal at the local level, with the support of citizens
– Be part of a collective call to action for sustainability, featuring actionable insights and real-world examples
A detailed programme will follow soon.
This event is a significant follow-up to the “Beyond Growth” conference from a grassroots and local government perspective, which demonstrated a growing awareness of the need for a different way of life in Europe in the face of the planetary crisis.
