PROGRAMME _European Seminar on LEADER – event labelled french presidency of the European Union
The French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which has just started, is an opportunity for France, at the initiative of the program in the 1990s, to promote LEADER and more broadly, local development by local actors, which has since been extended to other funds such as the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).
This is why Leader France is organizing on March 07 and March 08, 2022 in Plœuc- L’Hermitage (Côtes d’Armor) a European Seminar on LEADER, the only event organized within the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union specific to the LEADER program.
This meeting will be an opportunity to highlight the contribution of the LEADER program for rural territories and to discuss more broadly on the place of rural development within community policies.
This meeting will be organized in the form of conferences with participatory workshops. It will involve all Leader stakeholders in France: ministries, managing authorities, LAGs, etc. The European Commission, Members of the European Parliament, members of the European Committee of the Regions will participate.
English translation will be provided throughout the seminar! We invite you to relay this invitation to the LAGs of your country !
