Democracy starts with your participation!

In light of the upcoming EU elections, Civil Society Week is a bold call to action to strengthen our democracies. The event will shine a light on the threats to democracy and the challenges in safeguarding democratic values. The guiding task throughout the week will be to explore the crucial role of civil society in contributing to more resilient and democratic societies.

This EESC flagship event will bring together five major EESC initiatives: Civil Society Days, ECI Day, Your Europe Your Say !, Journalists’ Seminar, and Civil Society Prize. We will gather people of all ages and backgrounds, including youth, journalists and EU institutions, for a vibrant debate on topics that matter to our everyday life and Europe’s future.
