4th Latvian Rural Community Parliament

Around 300 policy makers, opinion leaders, active rural citizens, implementers of new iniatives, Civil Society Organization (CSOs) and other creative entrepreneurs are expected to share their experience, inspire new ones, tackle important aspects and envision positive future for rural areas, paying particular attention to political and practical tools to facilitate implementation of new paradigms at this year’s Latvian Rural Community Parliament in the small village of Zaļenieki in central Latvia.

From informal networking and “growing” new inspiring ideas reinforced through field visits to two intensive parliament days where a short resolution of new paradigms in rural areas will be elaborated, summarizing conclusions from work “stations” and discussions, nothing will be left undone in order to achieve a resolution that will contribute to national rural policy as well as European Rural Parliament declaration.

Common sessions will have synchronous translation and a number of work stations will be held in English.
