Marion Eckardt had the opportunity to meet with Commisioner of Demography and Democracy, mrs Dubravka Šuica this Tuesday. They had conversation about democracy and where politics should be made and the importance to include our citizens in the democracy. Shows out they shared many views and hopefully it will be more meetings. ELARD feels responsible to contribute to making the Long Term Vision a reality and are happy to contribute to the toolbox of initiatives that shall be published with the Long Term Vision. Marion had the possibility to tell about the strengths of the method that can be seen also in the position of ELARD from the 9th of May –The Voice of Rural Europe for the future of Europe! Now future meetings with the staff of the commissioner will treat the shallow uptake of CLLD in the Memberstates.
