LEADER Youth Community Participated in Rural Youth Policy Workshop in Brussels

On 22 October, the LEADER Youth Community was represented in Brussels by Ana, who took part in an international workshop on rural youth policy innovation hosted by the European Rural Youth Observatory (EURYO) at Sofitel Brussels Europe.

The workshop focused on the FYI-R toolbox, an evidence-based foresight tool designed to support policymaking for rural youth aged 15 to 29. Participants explored the tool, shared feedback, and discussed how data-driven approaches can strengthen policies related to mobility, education, employment, and entrepreneurship in rural areas.

Ana contributed a youth-focused perspective to the discussions, highlighting the importance of involving young people directly in shaping future rural policies at European level.
