From practice to impact: building Horizon Europe collaborations for agriculture and rural areas

Are you lookinf for partners for a Horizon Europe proposal? This event is then made for you!

This networking event will focus on developing ideas around key priorities from the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 Work Programme and the Mission Soil for 2027, focusing on topics that require a multi-actor approach.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet peers working on similar challenges, present short teasers of their project ideas, and explore partnerships for future collaboration. The event will highlight additional European, national and regional funding opportunities that can support innovation in agriculture, forestry and rural areas.

Objectives
The event aims to support the preparation of high-quality, multi-actor project proposals for the 2027 Horizon Europe Cluster 6 and Mission Soil calls. In particular, the following thematic areas will be discussed:

– agrobiodiversity and sustainable agricultural practices
– fostering resilience and competitiveness in farming systems
– supporting climate-smart and clean farming
– fostering innovation through Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems
– healthy soils

Main target groups
The event will bring together a diverse range of stakeholders engaged in agricultural and rural innovation, ensuring a balanced representation across research and practice.

Participants include farmers and rural community representatives, advisors and innovation brokers, researchers, representatives of Operational Groups and rural entrepreneurs. The event will also involve public and private funding organisations such as the EIC, EIT and CBE JU, as well as EU R&I partnerships, networks, and National CAP Networks.
