COM4LGD Event: Reclaiming Local Food Economies

On 7 April 2026, an online event organized by ECOLISE will take place as part of the COM4LGD project: “Reclaiming Local Food Economies – Community Wealth, Territorial Resilience, and the Future of Food in Europe”.
This session will bring together community-led initiatives and stakeholders to explore how local actions are shaping more just, sustainable, and resilient food systems across Europe.
The workshop will highlight practical approaches such as community-supported agriculture, food cooperatives, and local food councils, while linking these experiences to policy discussions and future pathways for European food systems.
Participants will gain insights into:
- Community-led approaches to sustainable food systems
- The role of local food economies in resilience and wellbeing
- Policy perspectives and advocacy for fair and sustainable food futures
