ELARD has recently established a unit ELARD Knowledge Exchange Platform (EKEP) that one of the main activities is to promote ELARD participation in various expert groups, project teams and consortiums, e.g. Horizon 2020, European Commission neighbourhood programmes, and other programmes launched by the European Commission, international development organisations and national governments.

Outside EU our network has experience working with LEADER method in Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Turkey and the Balkan countries, as well as in Latin America, Africa and, since 2017, in China.
We have provided guidance, training and mentoring support on national and local level on establishment of local action groups, drafting local development strategies, implementing project calls and evaluating the results.
