“Towards a holistic strategy on sustainable and equitable rural/urban development”

On the 18th of June, our president, Marion Eckardt took part in the online hearing organized by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the European Rural Parliament (ERP).

Many speakers and panellists presented and exchanged their views “Towards a holistic strategy on sustainable and equitable rural/urban development”. The event gathered nearly 100 registered participants. The organizers appreciated the content and contribution from speakers and want to share materials being valuable input to the discussion on the subject.

The exchanges will contribute to the redaction of the EESC own-initiative opinion NAT/820 ‘Towards a holistic strategy on sustainable rural/urban development’.

The streaming of the event is still available on the web here.

Following the request of several participants to receive the speakers’ slides, and as no one objected to their diffusion, they will be published (in pdf format) on the event page in the following days.

There is also a plan to publish “key conference highlights” summarizing the outputs of the hearing and highlighting your key ideas.

We will keep you up to date.
