SUMMARY:Bluefish and Garum Festival - 1st edition
DESCRIPTION:The two-days event combines the promotion of food and wine traditions\, local development\, and discussions on rural and coastal development policies\, and which is part of the “Food Without Borders” cooperation project that LAG La Citella del Sapere leads. \nOver the course of these two days\, conferences and roundtable discussions will be held with the participation of institutional representatives\, experts\, and national and European stakeholders. Among the topics to be addressed will be: \n– the outlook for the next European programming period;\n– the main challenges and opportunities for Local Action Groups (LAGs);\n– ongoing activities to protect and promote the role of LAGs in their territories;\n– the contribution of cooperation between rural and coastal areas to sustainable and integrated development. \nProgramme outline:\n– Opening conference in the port of Maratea on Tuesday 21st July at 18:30\, followed by a dinner under the stars\n– Conferences on 23rd July: “GARUM: between history and Gastronomy”\, “The Tale of the Sea”\, and “The role of the EMFAF 2021-2027 in the Sustainable development of coastal communities in Basilicata”\, followed by a dinner under the stars \n📍 OPEN EVERY DAY OF THE FESTIVAL EMFAF Institutional Section\n– Basilicata Region In the Events/Conferences Area A meeting and information hub dedicated to marine sustainability\, the protection of biodiversity\, and opportunities for the development of the Blue Economy in Basilicata. SUMMARY:From practice to impact: building Horizon Europe collaborations for agriculture and rural areas
DESCRIPTION:Are you lookinf for partners for a Horizon Europe proposal? This event is then made for you!  \nThis networking event will focus on developing ideas around key priorities from the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 Work Programme and the Mission Soil for 2027\, focusing on topics that require a multi-actor approach. \nParticipants will have the opportunity to meet peers working on similar challenges\, present short teasers of their project ideas\, and explore partnerships for future collaboration. The event will highlight additional European\, national and regional funding opportunities that can support innovation in agriculture\, forestry and rural areas. \nObjectives\nThe event aims to support the preparation of high-quality\, multi-actor project proposals for the 2027 Horizon Europe Cluster 6 and Mission Soil calls. In particular\, the following thematic areas will be discussed: \n     – agrobiodiversity and sustainable agricultural practices\n     – fostering resilience and competitiveness in farming systems\n     – supporting climate-smart and clean farming\n     – fostering innovation through Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems\n     – healthy soils \nMain target groups\nThe event will bring together a diverse range of stakeholders engaged in agricultural and rural innovation\, ensuring a balanced representation across research and practice. \nParticipants include farmers and rural community representatives\, advisors and innovation brokers\, researchers\, representatives of Operational Groups and rural entrepreneurs.
